New Gear; Tenba Insert/DIY backpack!

Well I’ve been working on another DIY bag project lately.  I’ve used nothing but shoulder bags for a long time now, but with the lenses I’ve been carrying around they aren’t ideal all the time.  So I’ve been wanting a backpack/sling bag to help distribute the load, but keep my gear within a quick unzip and reach.  Sling bags are the obvious answer, but their single strap sucks.  I also picked up a kata 3N1 but it’s bigger than I need.  I ended up searching B&H for inserts again and stumbled into a new (to me at least) tenba insert they have available and figured I’d give it a try.  $25 later (shipped) I now have a rad insert I can stuff into just about ANY of my bags (including the old zoo york DIY messenger).  I’m now searching for the perfect backpack to put it in, but for now the $20 burton pack I’ve got is working well (the side zipper really needs to go all the way down the edge).
