Each year at the end of the year I post a year in review as a sort of wrap on the year for myself. I’ve got my personal favorite images of the year here as I always do. These are in chronological order. This year was a pretty amazing year for me in a lot […]
One last family photo/PAD image catch up post for 2016… This one covers a family trip to Block Island where we took the car on the ferry (awesome!). Fourth of July fireworks. Summer beach days. An overnight at the cottage. Kids soccer games. Elias and I hiking Mount Washington. And a family hike up Mount […]
Working on my 2017 Calendar. This year will be a bit of a change as I’m going with Iceland images -vs- local images but it should be a nice change of pace. Another twist this year is I can’t print and make them myself as we don’t have a saddle stitcher where I work now. […]
I try to put one of these lists together every year. These are my suggestions for the best gifts for photographers that I’ve found this year. Some of these images are my own, some are from the product pages from their respective websites. Links are affiliated where possible (this means I get a small % […]
Made it out for sunrise Saturday at Watch Hill. Had a “great ball of fire” sunrise (IE no clouds) but the thin ribbon of clouds low in the sky added a nice splash of texture. I also shot a timelapse of the shoot: Enjoy!
Made the annual trek to NYC for photo expo. This time Dave Simms and I got a hotel room and stayed over -vs- the crazy hours we’ve done in the past driving in for sunrise. This also meant we got to go to sleepy hollow lighthouse on the drive in. In the morning we had […]
Iceland! It’s been a goal of mine to get to Iceland for a long time now. I’d seen an image of Svartifoss on Flickr a while ago and added it to my favorites. I didn’t know much about it other than it was a cool waterfall. I then began to look into the falls a bit […]
Here are our spring 2016 shots of the family. This wraps up an early end to the ski season and as I write this it’s almost time to play in the water! The skiing here is at Killington and Okemo. Normally we go to Pico for the kid’s birthdays but this year the snow was […]
Found this on my way to Maine for the weekend. This is the Whaleback Lighthouse in Kittery Maine. It was foggy and rainy and I had to walk about 30 minutes further than expected (locked gate, this made me late for Portland Head Light missing that shot…) so ENJOY THIS!!! Ha ha.
