Tuckermans with SNOW!!!

yeah, but still not enough to ski… Dave and I went up to Tuckermans Ravine Saturday the 10th.  We had great plans of an epic sunrise over the ravine as well as hermit lake.  We left RI at midnight and Dave drove us “through the night” getting there at 4am.  We then hiked in in the dark and got to hermit lake just in time for sunrise… only to be greeted by snow and overcast.  Oh well, we still had fun and made the best of it.  Dave and I both love hiking so we really only missed the epic shots we’d been dreaming about, but that makes us want to go back again.  There wasn’t enough snow to ski on either so it ended up being a long walk (6+ miles) with my skis and boots on my back, but I’d brought them up to review my new backpack from f-stop (the loka) anyway so no loss there either (that review should be done before Christmas).  Enjoy!
