EAJ 126 week update!

Well, this week I have one of the funniest conversations I’ve heard in a long time to report.  Elias is working on his potty training.  He’s got #1 down for the most part, but #2 is still a work in progress…  Well, one night this week he pooped in his underwear.  So that was cleaned up, but it was just before bedtime and there were no undies downstairs for him.  So his pants went back on, “commando” style…..  He then starts telling mommy that he doesn’t have any underwear on (which she knows because she changed him).  She was trying to reassure him that was OK, but he wouldn’t have it.  Finally she broke down and said “Neither do I!” …  I was in the kitchen and overheard so I added “I want to see!!”…  Elias thought I meant see that HE didn’t have any underwear on so he walks into the kitchen and drops his pants to his ankles, pulls up his shirt and says; “SEEEEEE!!!!” 😆  He then walked around with his pants around his ankles and played for another 10 minutes before bedtime while we pointed and laughed.

We also got our ottoman Friday as it was backordered.  That now makes the couch incredibly comfortable which makes us both very happy.  Saturday I got to go skiing for the first time of the season at Okemo.  I had a great time actually and although there were only “15” trails open and 4 lifts (it was really 7 different trails).  I skied with Norm all day and he and I put in a lot of fast paced top to bottom runs, took a quick lunch and went back out making it until 2:30 which isn’t bad for the first day of the year…  It was comical though as the trails were white ribboms amongst brown leaves even though it was cold out…  Okemo had done a great job grooming on most of the trails though so what was there was in great shape.  Then today I woke up early again, shot the sunrise then raced home to help clean the house so we could go cut down our christmas tree.  It’s up now and I’ll be sure to post some shots of it in the house next week.  I also managed to get out for a run today as well…
