Went out this morning and shot another sunrise. The weather was crap but I really wanted to shoot so I went anyway. It rained the entire drive down through Narragansett but stopped enough to shoot. It was misting the entire time though so shooting into the wind was out. It was an OK shoot, but I’m really looking forward to some good weather for shooting again soon.
Great photos Ben! I wandered upon your site because I race Open 570’s in Southern California. I am also a amateur photography nut andI’m constantly learning to use my gear better all the time. Your slow shutter landscape scenes are awesome! I also like your blog and may try something similar as a discipline to shoot more photos and record my own notes and comments. My girlfriend Stephanie and I are certified full gear heads. I’m curious what your next camera will be? The next two weekends are all 570 sailing for us out here. I’m sure we’ll meet sometime in the future…. Peter
