This weekend was the airshow. We live very close to quonset point, so we always make it a point to at least see the show. I’ve honestly never been, and each year I say I should, but the idea of the crowds turns me off. But I have been going closer and closer with where I’ve been watching from. Saturday we watched from the beach with some friends, but then Sunday I rode my bike over to the end of the runway for an even closer view. Boy was that worth it! I got to watch the show from the top of a ~25′ dirt pile with a few other locals and had a blast!
