Well we took Elias for his first plane ride down to Myrtle Beach this weekend. His GREAT Grandmother had her 90th birthday (today actually) so we flew down for the weekend. Mom had flown down earlier, Dad flew down the same day, and Aunt Jess and Uncle Ben flew in a bit later (and are still there). We had an amazing weekend and Elias did very well both with flying and with staying for 3 nights in a strange crib and house. My mom had rented a crib, highchair and gate which made it very easy on us (less to bring or worry about). Elias LOVED Grandma’s house with the beach just down the street and continually ran to the slider to point down to the ocean. He would even bring us our shoes and get his new shovel (thanks grandpa!) to get us to go with him. We even got him into the pool for the first time (video and pics to come when mom gets home with her camera). All in all it was an AWESOME weekend and Elias flew very well.
It was also Debbie’s Birthday on Tuesday so they came over and we all went out to Chianti’s Tuesday night.
Now I’m beat, the Brett Favre is playing AGAINST the Packers on MNF, so this is getting cut a bit short.
LOVE LOVE LOVE the pics of you all with Grandma, Ben! My absolute favorite is Elias saying “cheers” with Grandma and her Stoli and water. Grandma said she had a fantastic time meeting him. Thanks to you all for being there with her for the big 9-0!
