Stopped by Ryan park on my way home tonight to grab a shot of the amazing clouds.   Of course I got there about 15 minutes late, but I’ve got a 24mm TS-E on loan from canon so I “needed” to test it out.

While I was in Myrtle Beach visiting my Grandmother for her 91st birthday I decided to get up early and shoot the sunrise on the beach.  It was a nice change of pace from all the water and rocks back home, and also because the sunrise is a full hour later being that far west…

Went down to Newton Ave Saturday AM with Brian.  We had a nice time shooting the sunrise.  It wasn’t epic, but it was MUCH better than last weekend.  We went down to PJ and then Monahan’s afterwards to look for surfers but really didn’t see much.

Went down to Sachuest again this morning. The clouds rolled in just in time for the sunrise and left shortly after. It was pretty much perfect as there was just enough breeze to keep the mosquitos off.

Went down to Hazard Ave again this morning.  Decent morning but lots of fishermen…  Someone decided to scale a fish right in “the spot”, and not only that they smoked about 5 cigarettes while doing it leaving all the butts behind.  I guess fishermen don’t respect the sea/environment the way I do but it’d frustrating…

Went down and shot the beach this morning.  The sunrise wasn’t spectacular but it was still worth shooting.  On the way home I also stopped by the nest at the bridge and got a shot of the owners.  I was surprised to see three at first, then the 4th showed up!

Went out to Ledge Road this morning.  The weather was forecast to be raining on and off and it had rained all night, but I caught a break there.  Then driving over the Newport Bridge it was quite foggy which made me wonder what I’d get, but somehow there wasn’t any fog on the ocean…
