by Ben
Sorry to dump this many shots on you guys at once, but I haven’t grabbed the images off the iPhones in a while so I decided to put them all in one gallery and share them with you guys. So enjoy almost 100 shots from early July through late september! Nikki gets credit for most […]

Photokina 2010
by Ben
I normally don’t post too much about new camera announcements (even though I follow them pretty closely, I’m obviously a gear nut!), but this year’s photokina has 2 new compact cameras that have caught my attention enough I thought I’d mention them. The first is Fuji’s X100. It was announced before the show and EVERYONE […]

ThinkTankPhoto Lens Changer 3 video review!
by Ben
I recently picked up a lens changer 3 from thinktankphoto. Well, I guess I shouldn’t say recently, I tend to take my time evaluating a product before I consider reviewing it because I want to see how I like the product after the initial “honeymoon” has worn off. For this reason my bag reviews generally […]

Newton Ave 9.18.2010
by Ben
Went down to Newton Ave Saturday AM with Brian. We had a nice time shooting the sunrise. It wasn’t epic, but it was MUCH better than last weekend. We went down to PJ and then Monahan’s afterwards to look for surfers but really didn’t see much.

Fun filled weekend!

Well it’s been a busy and fun weekend. The above shot is actually one I DID NOT TAKE. Credit for that goes to Brian Harrington who’s a friend of mine through the forum and a fellow landscape shooter. He and I shot Newton Ave Saturday morning then went down to Point Judith to check the […]

Sachuest 9.11.2010
by Ben
Had an AWESOME group of NSOP guys at Sachuest Saturday. We were joking there were more of us than clouds in the sky as it was BLUE BIRD… Not great for landscapes but it was still fun with the group. The guys had flown into town for a party so after the lackluster sunrise we […]

EAJ 117 week update!
by Ben
Well I skipped last weeks update. We’ve just been super busy lately and honestly I didn’t have all that many pictures to add so I figured I’d do a 2fer. We had an adventurous week though… A skunk decided to try to move into the crawl space directly under our bedroom… We ended up spending […]

NSOPgiving 2010
by Ben
I’m sure my family will read this post and wonder what on earth is NSOPgiving, and if it is anything like thanks giving, why is this in September? Well, NSOP is my photo forum that I run, and we have a yearly meet in the fall we call NSOPgiving that’s like a fun backyard party […]

Earl surfing shots:
by Ben
after the sunrise this morning Dave and I headed down to PJ and sat on the rocks and took some surf shots. Had a blast watching these guys. The Coasties were out burning some tax payer’s fuel as well “training” in the seas. Some of the crash shots might actually be my best shots […]

Hurricane Earl!
by Ben
Earl blew through last night. Dave and I decided to go down to Hazard this morning for the sunrise and see what kind of trouble we could get into. All cameras survived and I only got my boots and pants wet! Had a great time shooting with some impressive waves then we went to PJ […]

EAJ 116 week update
by Ben
A slow week photographically for me this week. Monday’s I sail, so that usually kills that day, then the rest of the week I just felt really run down for some reason. Not sure why. This weekend was fun though, GiGi and PopPop took Elias Saturday night so we could go to Nikki’s 15th HS […]
