I’ve been attempting PADs (photo a day) since 2006.  Each year something comes up, I’d miss a day, then once the continuity is broken it’s very hard to get it going again.  In 2008 my son Elias was born.  Knowing this, I started a PAD hoping I could make it the 2 months before his birth and then keep it up using images of Elias once he arrived.  I made it and I took a photo a day, every day, for two complete years, 2008 and 2009.  I’ve continued the project in 2010, but I will admit I’m missing a few days (less than 10 missing). This has been a very fun and rewarding project for me and it’s taught me a lot about my photography because I’ve had a camera by my side every day for the last three years.
