finally got the 24-70 for the D700.  It’s a lens I love to hate honestly…  I’m not really a fan of mid range zooms.  I’ve owned both the sigma and canon versions of this lens before and never really loved using it but ALWAYS got great results.  I had the 24-105 with the 5Dii for a while and was going to swap it out for another L version before the 5Dii drowned.  I will say this is an amazingly sharp lens and it AFs like non other.
